This thread smells bad. Anyone have any idea what the fer heck he is actually asking?

After many years of trying to decipher what operator's were writing, "what is wrong with their trucks," I think I may have the answer. The OP is trying to add power brakes to a truck that did not originally have power.

@Smelsbad needs the bracket spot-welded to firewall. My suggestion would be go to the yard and grab everything, master cylinder, booster, bracket and push rod from the same vehicle. May even need the pedal arm if it is different.

Take a long chisel and a 3 pound hammer or other tools of destruction to remove the bracket.
