Have a 80 K5 350 changed out my distributor set tdc and can't get it started for nothing please help

Did you happen to rotate the engine over after removing the distributor and before installing the new one? And it's possible that if you set it for tdc, you're on the wrong tdc. Meaning you could have the distributor 180 degrees off and you're on the #6tdc instead of #1tdc.
