so I had an old and aged rough country 4" lift (spring up front and blocks in rear) on it before I went ORD. so that's what I'm comparing it against. I chose to go springs in the rear with a shackle flip for a couple reasons.

1. Stephen Watson at ORD said I should. and he knows square bodies lol
2. my springs were clapped out
3. I wanted 6" of lift. shackle flip is 3" and the ORD springs are 3"

they ride a million times better than my old setup. they soak up bumps like a caddy. I have not gone wheeling with them yet (I just got them installed yesterday). so I cant comment on flexing...but I suspect they will out flex anything I have had. ORD claims 14" of travel

they are 10 thin leafs in the pack as opposed to 3 thick leafs. so far I am incredibly impressed with them.

I am running tuff country 9000 shocks.

I did not move my front axle forward. the new spring packs pin is moved to the recommended spot which does appear to have moved the axle forward between 1-2". I did buy there offset plate and may install it in the rear so I can slide the axle back 1". but I wont be doing that until I get my driveshaft lengthened.

all in all it was expensive. very expensive. but I'm glad I went with there springs. I wouldn't do it any other way now that I drank the kool-aid

Thanks for that great info... one last question- could you do a quick center of hub to fender measurement on that?

Yes, that is great- thank you.

Your truck is very tall. I've been thinking about a new lift. I'm only at 10.75" now.

@bucket your dually makes me ! Its so fkn sexy!!!:hump:

Man, those old pictures make me sad. The dually could really use fresh paint now. At least it hasn't deteriorated nearly as much as the Suburban.
