T-150 is the model number, A triple cylinder 750cc. model number also represents in MPH of the obtainable top end. it is geared a little taller and is capable of around 160, according to the mile posts as they fly by. measured from the second hand of my watch.

My girls. One of each year. Ifyou know what they are, you know bikes. If you've ridden one, you are one of not many. Put a couple years into them to make sure they look and run right.
One thing is for sure, working on bikes is generally a lot cheaper than working on trucks.

Comparing their price new to other bikes in their category, they were fairly cheap at about $2400, vs the 500 and 600 cc sportbikes of the time which were typically about $1000 more. Their value really jumped in the past 5 years. Absolutely love the 2-stroke sound (particularly the 85 that has the aftermarket fairing).

I'm thinking if you had the same mentality toward trucks you sure as hell wouldn't be into old squarebodies. And if you cant get near a Harley without being a complete ass then maybe you need to do some soul searching while driving a fourteen year old *** truck.

I think he was referring harley riders becoming an ass, not him. Ie the attitude that if it's not a hog it's a pile of crap. There's a lot of that disease around. I think it's pretty common with many types of bikers, ever get around some Ducatti or Aprilla guys?? Heck, listen to how most of you talk about broken down, rusted squarebodies.
Gotta say though, when I'm on a ride, or if I swing into a watering hole, there's always a collection of harley guys who flock to my RZ to take pictures and tell me how their older brother's buddy rode one once upon a time. Everyone wants me to start it up for them.

Also, I've said it before on the record, I do have a soft spot for 80s Toyota 4x4s. Once I even made a cross breed chevota with a 350 and th400 in an old 88 Toyota standard cab pickup.
I can appreciate why people like Harleys and have even ridden a few, some of my closest friends own them, but I prefer going fast on a bike that handles good. But god forbid a group of Harley guys see me on my Suzuki I'm all of a sudden some ****** for riding it despite the fact that it's far more thrilling than a Harley. What a dick mentality.
And your reference about the *** truck vs square body thing is all wrong. If I want a dependable strong utilitarian truck a square is far better at that than some little *** truck. But if I want to go wheeling down tight trails I want a tiny little *** truck to fit in places a square never could. Both have their advantages for different uses, and I'm actually looking for another old Toyota to add to the fleet for exactly that reason. Some of the most fun I've ever had was back in my old Yotas as a kid. But if I want to ride the bike, I want a bike that is good at being ridden. The same way a little *** truck is good at being a wheeling rig, a sport bike is good at being ridden fast, only drawback is that it's not comfortable on long road trips (which as far as I'm concerned is NOT the point of a motorcycle). What is a Harley good at, vibrating? Going slow and making noise? I'll admit they have a certain badass appeal, but that's literally as far as it goes. My square can pull trailers, my square has taken a head on impact at 45mph and drove home afterwards while the shitbox that hit it got towed off with its owner on a stretcher, my square is dependable as all hell for getting the job done. Should I go buy a Harley to pull trailers with? Sorry man, it's just not what I'm into.

My dad before i was born had a 70s cj, later in life he had cherokees wich made my mom buy cherokees since his death, and my sister is a CJ NUT! I like some jeeps mostly the pickups and old school CJs. It was just funny because the ultimate war vehicle is now a skinny jeans fad vehicle..
