This is going to be a bitch of a job. There is like twice the amount of bolt holes I found on the new one that were rotted away on the old one.... >SUDU<

I wouldn't be worried about the bolts, I'd be worried about having enough metal to attach the new panel too.

Wow, yours didn't appear to be very rotted at all... until you cut it open. I guess I'm gonna need to replace mine after all, since the lower quarters will be cut out. That would be the time to do it huh?

I REALLY wish somebody would come to the party and reproduce outer wheel houses for these Burbs.

I wish JCW still carried the plastic liners for the wells like they did back in the day, drives me insane they don't have them anymore, they would make a killing off them now.

Old and buried topic but I am doing this exactly same tail pan assembly replacement operation to my old c20.
Bought new assembly from LMC, imported it to Northern Europe and took the old one off in two or three pieces. Had to replace and weld one body mounting bracket and most of the gargo floor.
As I am spending evenings in my in my garage and trying to find the right way to slide new assembly to its place, lifting the body at least 8 inches off the frame does not seems to be a good idea to me.
I am cutting new assembly in two, install them and weld them back together. Has anybody done this some other way, easier way?

The view from the rear.
Also had to weld some patches to inside of rear quarter, spare tire compartment was really bad too so I replaced it with some sheet metal.
They are really ruff patches but this car has lost its former glory long time ago thanks to numerous owners so I am just fixing it to make it pass yearly inspections.
