I never found the problem with this truck, just parked it on the hill. Was talking with a friend yesterday and he reminded me of something that might be wrong with this truck. PO had he transmission shop work on his truck, said it was running right until they worked on it. I remember putting a car together with parts from a junk yard and some how I put the wrong flex plate on a car and it caused the same problem, may have been an engine that the harmonic balancer (400 engine) or something else was counteracting with the weight on the flex plate anyway this old mechanic crawled under my car with a hammer and chisel and knocked the weight off the flex plate and solved the problem. Help me think this through I know nothing about this truck runs good just seems out of balance, I appreciate any help you may offer.

It seems out of balance because it is.
Better rush to correct the janky flexplate issue a.s.a.p. or buy an engine.

Never pay that mechanic for anything again and you'll be ahead.

Because that means it is on BACKWARDS.
(I've put one one before) and now it is garbage because dude " fixed it " with a hammer and a chisel!

Makes ya wonder what the heck he thinks that counterweight is doing on there in the first place?

It's not equal to an extra bolt.
Must. be. corrected.
Yesterday.

But no charge today. ;)
