Oh well here we go again, just when you thought it couldn’t get any worst. I have found 2 1980 Renault Lectric Leopard, they were listed on Craigslist with no pictures so I took the bait and made a visit today. We haven’t settled on weather I want them or not but they are interesting www.renault-5.net/usalessite.htm there is a little info here. Pictures should answer most questions.

The batteries will probably cost more than the car is worth. Also we were having problems in the late 70’s with obtaining gas. Remember those days, they just needed a very lightweight car.....and electric cars have been evolving for a long time
