I'd really like to have a set. I know, I can buy stainless ones all day long, I want white. I've tried tracing inside the gasket. I've tried to trace the metal frame of the mirror. I can't get the curves right, maybe you could, but I can't.

I really just need the glass. But I'll buy the glass, the head, whole assembly or set if we can come together on a price. Hell, if you've got a broken mirror that's in 2-4 pieces that could be put together on a table I can trace, that would work. I bought some stainless ones to steal the glass out of. That went to hell pretty quick. So if you have something, just let me know and we'll see what we can work out.

Pics are what I'm talking about.

Thanks man! I was soooo close to getting the glass out of the stainless ones. I was like, “I got this.”, then it shattered. I almost broke down and bought some stainless ones, I thought I’d try here before admitting defeat.

All the glass i tried was the same way.... so close then kablooey! Also to note do not even attempt this with the same kind of ford mirrors because the glass is glued in and for certain breaks. I had a hell of a time finding the correct stainless ones, i always found whites or the ones that mount outside the head. Try your local craigslist?

I had the glass on one of my mirrors replaced at a Glass Shop for $20. They already had patterns for most mirrors.

I hit the Craigslist everyday. I found one but it was attached to a door and over 3 hours away. Then again, I’ve never done a specific search for mirrors.

Uh, it didn’t dawn on me that they might have a pattern for it already. I don’t think we have a local glass shop, but there should be one about 30 minutes away, and being a bigger city, my chances are even better that they will have the pattern.

I’ll do some looking at these options. Y’all bear with me, sometimes I get so focused on one solution I over look a few more.

I hope I didn't throw em away - they were pretty nice! What are they worth?

I’m still in for some white ones if you find them. I forget to check back in threads sometimes and I never get a notification when someone posts.

I found them!
ALMOST by accident too. These puppies are fiiiiine too!
Ooohhh weee!
No wonder I kept em, they have been kept inside for a very, very, long time.

NOT givin em away but honestly I don't want them outside of their recognized worth.

It's daylight outside so here's a qwik pick - if that's what you are after?
