Holy crap.
This is an amazing car, I am blown away!

Tell ya what - it don't take long to realize how short I have been selling myself.
There's a tag on the keychain that says "want to buy this car?"
Hmmm.. yes. Can I trade in my IROC on it -after I fix the brakes? I would.

That would be greeaat..**** man. Things are gonna change! I really would.

How much do these cars sell for?
$30k.
That's ALL?

This car is amazing.
The fit and finish is WAY superior to most other things i've seen lately- really impressive. Honestly, it's too fast and too loud though.
I think a V6 would suit me just the same and they cost $10k LESS. SUUURRREEEE is a lot of car for the money :imo: I could go on..

If I didnt drive so much daily I would be all over a used one but its just not practical. Do they run on higher octane?

Keep up the good work with Helen. We all know the best ones are a little bit of a headache.

Nice upgrade at the car rental place.

My cousin rented a BMW last year. It had paddle shifters. He said it had something like 500hp. The stories he told me about the weekend they had it. Multiple times he had it up around 140mph. Said 0-80 was achieved in a few seconds. Almost hit a deer. He is a crazy SOB I tell you what, but he sure has a lot of fun doing it...lol...

but wait....isn't it "too new" for you?

Lol. Yes...?

Srsly folks, this is a great car.
It feels like a car. It seems real.

After some more internet car shopping ... I fixed what bugged me the most about the car. The steering wheel TELESCOPES. Much better now!
Been avg 12 mpg..I could do better but why?
It idles a lot..

@Crispy
I haven't put gas in it yet.

I was thinking. Obviously if I traded the Camaro I would regret it.
I have zero desire to BUY, but I reckon a LEASE would be cool? It's all the same cost..

I got a good mind to lease a V6 SXT Challenger that MOSS GREEN color with little aluminum colored wheels. I don't like sitting up so high on these stupid black 20s..and a v6 makes 300hp these days anyway!

I understand there were many updates and changes to the 2019 and if the earlier models dont have the same features/design/comfort levels then I guess it'll have to be new.
Hook me up at $300 of $350 a month.
Worth it. Needs to happen but it'll have to wait the summer...monies are already spent.
Reckon i'll get my Blazer back and fix the AC...first but this is the ****.

Oh man, you mentioned the moss green color. I absolutely love that shade of green, and it looks great on the Challenger too.

Yeah man, that green is the shizznit. It's called "F8 Green" and the flatty gray color, like primer..that's a good one too.
Smallest diameter wheel is an 18. :(

That's about the same color I painted my home's interior!

SXT is available AWD 305hp V6.
Yes please.
How high can I lift it? Just lemme get two inches and 33s...please.

Does it got a live axle in the front lol?

The only car in it's class with available AWD..so there's nobody to play with.

Uh huh.

Fine.

That's great and all but -will.it.rip.all.four? o_O
Inquiring minds want to know.

just not practical. Do they run on higher octane?

I took the car with a full tank.
17-18 gallons?
I have filled it TWICE with 87 GAS and dude..there is so much power, it moves SO FAST - I have no clue how it feels about the octane rating as it doesn't seem to care that I am scared shitless, white knucklin out behind the wheel.
I had it up to 125 mph last night and let me assure you, I chickened out WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY before that car was going to. :headbang:
ANYWAYS
The gas mileage likely could be acceptable..it was an "instant mpg" vacuum gauge in the dash to watch but it is SO MUCH FUN tgat this car averaged 5.3 mpg yesterday.
Huh. 5.3.

I idle a LOT.

My foot is heavy. :(

Jimmy cracked corn and I don't care?

Three tanks of gas this week and I ain't done yet BUT I DID get my th-350 back from teh GURU. :headbang:

I figured out the SPORT suspension tuning will stay on as default , which makes the car MUCH more comfortable to drive.
The sport transmission selection however , must be selected each time the key is turned and it too is way more gooder and closer to what I expect.
:imo:
After I figured THAT out and played with the seat some more NOW it is just like home. Except it's brand new and doesn't have a key...and it's too fast. :(

That's easy to say BigTen but the car really is stupid fast and it's not mine lol.

Impractical is an understatement.

Nice! I know my old Hemi used to be able to run 87 but recommended 89 for "peak" performance. Maybe its time you treat yourself and get a new one while Helen and the K5 get what they need.
