For the 4th and final time , I’m trying another rearview mirror adhesive, if this one doesn’t work then I’m bolting one to the trim that holds the headliner up. This Tim I decided to sand the windshield with the sandpaper included in the kit so the glue has something to grip onto [emoji23]. We will see how this one plays out, I’m just going to wait a day or two to be sure it’s all cured even though it says 30 min.

Grandson left for a vacation and brought his 79 K10 to me to fix. Had a list ,squeal in p.s., speedo no work ,no lights in the dash, no PRNDLL (actually nothing that says PRNDLL) in the dash, tach no work and probably a couple of others , I forget.(old) New bracket for P.S.(fixed it) new speedo cable complete(old one laying on exhaust-fried) Removed dash cleaned, new bulbs, straighten out printed circuit and twisted bulb holders in(hold breath) put a PRNDLL in with cable. Went to reinstall and found the 3 wire tach connection hanging in a wire maze ,plugged it in and got the cluster back in. In the process broke off the PRNDLL needle so that's still not working. OK, fired it up and everything came alive ,gages lights and the tach even WORKS!! Sat back and drank BEERS

Pulled passenger door of my 86 K20, replacing PW motor and complete seals, plus rebuilding wing window. After done with this side, then will do drivers. Figured would be easier to work on it laying on the work bench, lol.

Awesome gun
It’s a Uberti .44

Having a cap and ball revolver , then you understand reading in Louis L’amour books why the men cleaned their guns everyday and why a bullet could bounce off a belt buckle etc

My dad bought an uberti black powder revolver once. Lotsa fun but a pain to reload. I love the looks of those era revolvers

Yeah, those are cool.
I never really got in to the old school stuff, but it's neat. I remember the first time I shot a flintlock when I was a kid. It was actually at boy scout camp.
They had these Confederate hats pinned to rebar posts that we could shoot at. The hats were supposed to spin on the posts when you hit them, but I blew one clean off on my first shot and this old man was laughing his ass off.
It was a total luck shot, though. I wasn't prepared for the huge delay at all, and just as easily could have shot dirt or the sky. :D

Yeah the work of reloading makes you carefully aim each shot

Like the Steve Earle song “devils right hand “
My very first pistol was a cap n ball colt , Shoot as fast as lightnin’ but she loads a mite slow .

Mighty fine engine bay you have there
Thank You, Sir! That’s high praise considering the source.

Still surprised that no one has given me crap about the old oxidized Edelbrock filter lid sitting on my Holley!

I wasn’t super excited about the red plug wires, but they were the ones on sale—so beggars can’t be choosers. The rfi suppression of these wires over my previously installed wires is supposed to play nicely with the various sensors for EFI.

Nothing wrong with red wires. I switch back and forth occasionally. If they were pink and everything was clean and the little details done right, it would still look good. One thing I don't do, and never have, is hate on someone else's taste. Would definitely be a boring hobby if we all looked the same.
