Also check your cab bushings to see if its dropped down on the transfer case or tranmission. When I replaced my cab bushings I found that the cab was sitting on top of my transfer case and transmitting all the vibration from the drivetrain. After replacing bushings I thought I had an engine problem at first startup because it sounded so much different from the driver's seat.

It's at the garage today being worked on and inspected because I don't have the time and patience and tools to replace them myself, so I should be getting a call today and hopefully nothing else is damaged

Just took out a body lift and the truck has polyurethane bushings, nothing is touching the engine/tranny/transfer case. Polyurethane bushings might be a small culprit for the terrible ride quality and slight vibration

I don't know. I replaced mine on Crusty Biscuit. The rubber was nearly completely crushed, and I installed polyurethane cushions in their place, and I didn't notice a huge difference, and this is on a truck with solid bushings on the front end, no rubber on the suspension up front.
