Odd problem with the Camaro, can't find valve seals that would fit. Valve guides are 0.585 and felpro seals do not fit(listed for 0.530 guides). The fully flexible style fits on the guide, but will get ripped up by the inner valve spring. Went to extend the wires, and found they already been crimped earlier. Had to recut/solder.

I always disliked "cats" on my vehicles.

Especially when they leave scratches down the hood. That is what you are referring to right?

That looks like a mini-cat. I guess it could be called a kitten.

It is the only cat on the car I believe. But it ran away once it saw what was coming. Ran out of time for today

I really like that jig idea. I never would have thought of that.

Oh I thought the wood was to hold the cat while you busted the core out. This looks like the more expensive and more work option.

Iroc has been taking too much time. Had to pull the heads as the seats for the springs needed to be lowered as well as valve guides turned down. Almost back together now with upper radiator hose giving trouble and the vacuum line to the fpr. Also need to get it timed and put exhaust back on. And get the hood brace cut, and tie the fuel lines and probably some more random things. There is also ebl flash to be installed probably as well.

Some progress on solstice. Installed front shocks, replaced fluid in the diff and transmission and also installed a rear suspension brace. Chassis is pretty decent, can't lift only one corner. On my TA, had to add a lot of bracing before it could act similar. Also factory functional brake cooling ducts. Will try to get rear shocks in next couple of days.

Radio from 2009 g6 for USB support. Turned out there is no OnStar option on this one, so no easy factory Bluetooth upgrade.

Turned out scanner that a friend of mine has refuses to give radio unlock option on my car. Then decided to take both radios apart to swap eeprom chip, but 09 has updated board design with non standard labels on a lot of the chips. Finally narrowed it to one that look like eeprom, but the radio did not like the chip from the old radio. Currently just cleaned the old one and ordered new blank eeprom chip in hopes of getting new one to work with a blank. Also top coming down works well for a random Lowe's run.
