Some traffic , but not horrible, and a beautiful day, so the window was down.

7.47 MPG - ugh. Plugs just got ordered.:D

Washed roof and hood, Meguires compound and then a wax coat.

78C10Bigten's trick works, but man, you caused me a lot of work ...

LOL- remember the guard frog ?

Guy followed me home - found him when I opened the hood to do plugs - I put my left hand up on the weatherstrip area on the cowl when I do number 8.

There he was !

THIS time - a pic !

—drove the 77 a bit today :)
—found and issue with a drippy line going into the master cylinder on my dually. Snugged it up, added fluid and she’s good as new
Feels good when things work out, eh? Rarely the case. Ha.

I broke the tool box, made a cradle out of angle and got it back in and working.

I also kind of ripped the HF crane out of the bed. I got it reinstalled and have started to fix the hole in the bed.

It's so nice to have the truck back to being a usable tool again. I've missed having the crane and all the junk I keep in the tool box.

The drivers side window felt is seated correctly now I just have to do the passenger side.

  • New wiring harness - American Autowire #510008 universal kit. Not a trivial job! Have almost full battery voltage at my headlights now, so no need for relays! Dash lamps are brighter, too, and wipers run faster.
  • New dash pad from Cheyenne Pickup. Not as good as I expected based on reviews, but I don't have anything to compare it to.
  • Just ordered an OE type seat cover from LMC.
  • Bought some Noico sound deadening sheets at Amazon for the floor and the rear cab wall. Looks to be very nice stuff for significantly lower cost than DynaMat Xtreme.

Found out what was rattling in the front. My driver side caliper is loose, jiggling around. Anyone know what size Allen wrench it takes?

Unless I'm having a senior moment... 3/8"
Also, they tighten to 35 ft/lbs.
