alright guys I am doing a tune up on my small block. What are good spark plug wires. There are so many options out there. Also I have headers. Who runs them over and who runs them under? I only want to purchase one time and be done. Thanks in advance for any help.

From personal experience Firecore is the best. I run them on everything thing I can. Below that MSD and Moroso make great sets.

I’ve used the crimp-your-own MSDs before. I like neat plug wires and I figure MSD makes good ****.

I like Taylor wire! High quality at a decent price. You can make a “stock set” look good, but for me from now on I want to make my own sets. Like said above I like plug wires reallyyyy neat and tidy

I have factory wires as far as i know with long tubes. Mine are 90° boots over. A couple boots are damn close though.

MSD no longer makes the reasonably-priced blue wires I used for 20+ years, so for my last project I used MSD Street Fire cut-to-fit wires. Very nice, IMO. Taylor Spiro-Pro wires are good, too.

I like MSD and Taylor, never heard of firecore. Make sure you either get heat sleeves or wires that can handle the heat from headers.
