Never heard of tekton.... im using mostly second hand tools. Grabbed from yard sales and the scrap pile at work. I scored a nice 1/2" torque wrench some jackass scrapped.
It's always nice to score good cheap tools. I got a whole set of SK sockets for like $5 at a yard sale once.
My problem is that I lose **** too much.

If you have a Meijer around, they sell Tekton now. It's a nice product for the money, usually.
I don't have those stores, but that's pretty cool. I've bought most of mine from Amazon or wherever is cheap. The quality is there, though. The **** works. Sizes are correct and the finish is nice for how cheap they are.

Everybody loses a 1/2" once in a while, but if you're losing an 1" 7/8ths I start to wonder about you.

I once lost my 5 foot prybar, lol. Found it in the yard near my garage a couple weeks later. Before I put it away, I painted it Kawasaki green so I wouldn't lose it again.

Fought With this free 14 bolt FF I got from my dad. It sat outside at our farm for probably 20 years or more [emoji51]. Can’t get anything to spin, surprisingly the oil inside wasn’t discussion except for some rusty sediment from moisture over time. Diff will rock back and forth but the drums must be seized. I was whacking them for a while with a sledge hammer and various pry bars in the carrier and shock mounts to try and bust it free but no luck tonight.

Looks like there’s some wear from ubolts in the past, debating if I should weld up and grind back down to try and resurface the tubes?

I've got no experience with 14 bolts, or any FF for that matter, but to me it looks like the drum won't come off until the end cap or whatever it's called is unbolted and removed. Am I seeing it wrong?

Heres one for you to enjoy.

Tuesday I dropped my engine in and got all my bellhousing bolts started. Went to put in flywheel bolts tonight and I realized I put the flywheel on backwards out came the engine again! Fail.

I changed out the TH400 for a 700R4 and did pretty much the same thing(wrong bolt pattern). That really sucks.

I'm just doing things. Taking this plow mount off.
I'm a pretty safety conscious person, but this probably should have been a 2 man operation.
I was really strategic with the bolt removal, though, so that should count for something, right?

Yes you are correct, they are inboard brakes since it is full float. I am just trying to get everything turning without having to pull the axle shafts yet, and then pull the hubs off with a bearing pulling. I was hoping someone had a trick to get everything moving before going through all that work.

I agree. That's part of the reason I bought this truck. Everything is pretty much original stock Silverado and unmolested other than a plow.
It needs a lot of work for sure, but it wasn't beat or messed with much.
