Saw a Jimmy for sale locally with this wild sun visor on it. Absolutely fell in love.

I've never been an overwhelming fan of the Lund/etc. fibreglass visors as I find they generally look too plastic, like an afterthought. One of these however? That I could get behind.

With some creative internet searching I did manage to track down what I think was the source of the visor, although sadly it appears to be a dead end. Manufactured by J & J Enterprises in California in the 80's. According to some members on the Ford Truck forums, they went out of business about 10 years ago, website and phone no. are defunct. No other info, but here are a couple more photos of the visor they once offered.

Anyone know of other alternatives?

I did find this obscure link that claims to produce custom visors for "any application". Might be worth a call.

I would love to find one of these things for my rig.

Does anyone know why I get
"You do not have permission to view media within this album" ?

I just changed the viewing permissions within the album, hopefully that fixed it. Sorry, it's been a while since I've hung around any forums.

Check out some of the Chevy products here, and a few different visors... just maybe?

They used to have dually fenders but I don;t see them anymore... truly an unobtainable now.

AWESOME link Shiftpro, even though I'm still not 100% a fan of the fibreglass stuff $75 is a way better price than I've seen anywhere else. Some of those old Lunds go for 400 bucks on eBay!

I purchased an '88 K5 that has a Lund visor. I can't say I'm a big fan of the look of them but everyone I talked to says I need to drive it first before removing because they all liked them once they drove a lot. Supposedly the visors dramatically cut down on glare. I'll wait till I get some road time before making a decision on whether to keep or remove.I'm just saying this because some folks like visors and some don't. If you find one you like the looks of seems like a win-win to me.

Off topic but second photo prompted me to say this...as much as I like the '67-'72 Chevy trucks and Square bodies I still have a soft spot for those late '70's Fords! Dang they look good, IMHO! Go ahead, flame on! I just couldn't help saying that when I saw that pic!

My brother had one on his Squarebody, it would hum at 80mph. I wasn’t a fan so I didn’t follow his lead.
