'77 fan shroud

My '77 C20 Camper Special has a one piece fan shroud (350 engine). I wanted to know what models have one piece shrouds like mine. I noticed that the aftermarket sell small block 2 piece shrouds for small blocks and one piece for big blocks. Are all the one piece shrouds the same whether big or small block? I am looking for a one piece shroud like the one on my truck.

My 454 C20 has a one piece.

You need measurements to compare against your small block shroud?

'73 350, 1-piece

74 350 1 piece

'75 350 K25 with HD cooling - 1 piece shroud.

I heard SOME '74 shrouds are the same as a '77....but it's pretty much one year only from what I gathered...because it is. The upper radiator support is ALSO a one year part. If you find a complete shroud it is GOLD.
Ask me how I know.

I happen to own an extra 1977 upper radiator support if you need one.

I bought my shroud on Craigslist from a guy parting out a truck. Good advice? says replace the motor mounts before you put it in your truck.

None of the parts on LMC are what you need.

Rusty Nail - do you have a picture of that support?

I’m pretty sure that’s what I needed. I have a 76 C20 Camper Special with a 350 & AT, short 4-row radiator (and 1-piece fan shroud). I bought it from my neighbor who is the original owner and kept everything 100% stock.

I’m sure the top radiator support was the wrong one installed from the factory! One of the bolts was sheared off in an attempt to tighten it at an impossible angle. The radiator pads were also mangled from holding the radiator at an awkward angle for 43 years.

I swapped in a serpentine set-up and was able to keep the 1-piece shroud but I ended up having to add in a 3/4” aluminium spacer so that everything would bolt up nice and square.

You can barely see the spacer in the lower right hand corner. I’ll take a better picture later today.

Ummm... I don't have a picture of my spare one but I know where it is LOL.
Man that's funny. I know you guys can relate and understand exactly how much /win that really is.

There IS a picture of the other one installed in my truck though, it was a big deal because I went Round and Round like RATT to correct my truck's heavy-duty cooling WITH Silverado A/C, original optioning back to OE.

That truck has seen FOUR DIFFERENT RADIATORS in the decade that I have owned it and only got the CORRECT one last summer. When I got the truck it turned out to have a 1972 Fleetside radiator zip-tied to the core support. That ignorance was indeed bliss.

I picked up a thing or two about 1977 Chevrolet C/K radiators during that process, it's safe to say. Thanks again to Johnny Craigslist!

Very proudly factory-correct extremely expensive radiator. Makes me want a brass one..

I think it's weird that C20 Camper Special trucks often came with the short radiator. Even my old '77 K5 had the taller radiator, it was originally a 400 though. It had a 1-piece shroud btw.

Here’s mine - hard to say tell if yours is different. Mine definitely needed that spacer to bolt to the core support squarely.
