Impressive being somewhere for almost 40 years! That seems to happen less and less now. My dad had spent around 40 years with the post office then took an early out retirement about 10 years ago. He loves working in his wood shop and on the house yard/garden.

I've been with the same place for 23 years and doubt that they will be around for another 5 years.

My old boss was laid off years ago and he was getting kinda close to retirement age. He ran parts for O'reilly's auto then is running parts for the local chevy dealer. He loves it also.
