So, are you wanting to put the rusty body on your 91 frame or do you just want the vital parts from the full top vehicle to transplant on your truck? I only ask because your early model body may not fit the later model frame without some frame modifications because after 1981 the tub changed. Not sure how much but just pointing that out in case you want to check into it some. I guess if it is resty enough you can put a whole new floor in it and then it won't really matter. It's enough for most of the parts books to have different body mount setups from what I remember but it's nearly 2 am here and I just worked 11 hours so I might not be in the deep thought mode.
It may be much easier to chop the parts off your 91 and find a soft top to bridge the gap until you can afford to find the hard top, especially if your sheet metal is in good shape. I know where you can get a top but the price keeps going up on it so they must know what they have. Right now it is listed for 1900 USD and I think the first time I saw it was for 1500. They aren't making them anymore and foolish people keep sending them off the scrap so it's a finite commodity. That is probably going to be your entry price into another full Vert top, then figure anoter 1500 for a tub that may or may not be useable at the very least. Even in poor shape they command a bit of a premium because people know they are getting rarer, unfortunately.
