PM me if you have one for sale. Looking for a cheaper alternative to Dakota Digital for my LS swap.

if your still looking I have one like above but instead of the large fuel gauge there is a large tachometer with a small fuel gauge inside it and the bottom left hole has a dual needle air pressure gauge I am willing to sell.

Is the speedometer electric? I've never seen a 2+ton truck cluster with an electric speedo.

My speedometer is not electric, it is the factory one that came in my 88 Crew Cab Dually. it is like the one pictured.
I see what you are doing and probably not what your looking for just saw the pic and replied. did not read the ad (what can I say I was schooled in California)

how does spending 4 times as much on a Dakota Digital make you only cry once? I'd cry everytime I looked at it knowing I could have gotten a better looking cluster from the boneyard for 40 bucks lol.

$40 x 4 is $160. If you find Dakota Digital clusters for that, I've got some ocean front property here in AZ I'd like to sell ya.

Looks are subjective I guess. My 85 didn't even have a tach or a clock. GM gave me a gynormous fuel guage and an empty hole on the left side.

Looks aside, you get modern, accurate, guages. When the oil pressure says it's at 10 lbs of pressure, it's actually at 10 lbs of pressure. Speedo? Same thing but, you can recalibrate it everytime you change tire size, gear ratios, etc.
I like the warnings you get for engine temp, low oil pressure, low fuel level...

Trust me, when you really look at what you get for the price, it is well worth it. I only paid $799 for the whole kit. No scrounging nasty junkyards looking for old brittle, scratched and warped plastic panels that never fit that great when they were new. Along with the Vintage Air, it's the best investment I ever made for my project. I feel much better knowing I have accurate guages monitoring the new engine it's got. Overheat an engine and you'll definantly be crying more than once. Lol

We're never going to see eye to eye on this lol. But I'm glad you're happy with your new gauge cluster.

Me, I drive around with no gauges at all, and if I overheat and engine, another is 170 bucks, and I'm ok with that lol.

Agreed lol.

Im pretty sure I spent at least $170 on fluids alone for the engine/trans swap. It's the little **** that adds up.
