Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and to C10's. I am just getting started restoring a 85 C10 Scottsdale, standard cab, 8ft bed, 2wd, 5.0 engine.

Can someone please point me in the direction on where I can pick up some stock style steel wheels that will accept the dog dish hub caps? The stockers on my truck are out of round and the tires won't balance. I saw summit sells some wheels that might work but I wasn't sure on the offset. I believe the brand was wheel vintiques. After I get the wheels, I will get them powder coated white.

Thanks!

Do you know for sure they are out of round, or is that what a shop has said?

The reason I ask is because that even if slightly out of round, you can still balance the tire and likely not feel it while going down the road. Also sometimes they just don't chuck up onto the balancer very well and you have to mount it up using the lug holes.

I also find it unlikely that all 4 wheels are bent.

I brought the wheels to the shop who did the powder coating and they were able to balance all 4. I think I am all set for now.
