Here is the basics of a 12v trigger relay, you will need 2. One for high beam, one for low beam. Mount the relays some where that's convenient to you, I prefer the core support. Pin 85 are ground, so run these two to a good body/chassis ground source, pin 30 gets voltage directly from the battery for both, pin 86 is your trigger wire, this will flip the relay once you it receives a signal, one relay will receive Low beam which is a Tan wire and the other is for high beam which is a Light green. The last pin is 86, which is your signal out, this will run to the headlight socket/fitting its self, tan is Low beam, light green is high beam. Now these tan/green run into the driver side socket and back out to the passenger side all you have to do is splice the two together on the out side of the relay (pin 86).

I got them from advance, had a 25% off coupon. Cost me about $115 for the pair and I made the relay set up. Being at Holley I'm surrounded by relays.

Good sir.
Do you have a link to the headlights you are using?
I am quite interested in this mod for all 4 of my 7" headlight vehicles...

Changed the rear brake springs- 8 dollar stab at the dragging brake issue.

We shall see.

Got my exercise for the morning at any rate. 80lb 3 ton Craftsman floor Jack- getting it out of the garage is usually the hardest part of the job !:insane:

Replaced the u joints in the rear drive shaft today, changed oil in trans, tcase and rear end.... then drove it. All was well, went to move it later in the afternoon no brakes, no fluid leaks any where, no clue what happened. Think it may be the master cylinder, or something to do with hydroboost.

Meguires and 4 hours with a buffer. Disregard the front fenders... theres no clear on them.

These trucks didn't get base/clearcoat paint until the '80s. If you want the fronts to shine up, you'll need a coarser compound to start with.

So not sure where to put this but here goes... after a long day remodeling a college rental house in the midst of kids moving in, at 10pm when im ready to leave i find my truck parked in by some jackass! Now mind you im parked like a normal person in line with all the others, theres also more parked in the same lot in the same manner directly across from the rest. So then the one last jack nuts decides to pull straight in completely in front of my truck! So after alot of back and fourth side to side jockeying i pulled out my jack and pushed the ass end of said car over about 2ft and lined up very carefully and pulled through. Stupid ass college kids! Sorry about the pics as it was late and my camera sucks.

Why not just call, and have his **** towed? If you were legally parked, and he blocked you in, that tells me he was illegally parked. Either that, or push his car out of the way with the truck. That's the problem with the world today, stupidity isn't painful or expensive anymore.
