My buddy borrowed my truck and somehow jammed the driver seatbelt into the buckle used for the middle seat. The buckle will not release. There's 'tab' portion moves side to side and the button moves up and down, so nothing is jammed solid. I've tried pressing, pushing and pulling, but nothing gives. Any tips or tricks?

Turns out you can pop the cover off the buckle. Start from the back, opposite where the seatbelt ‘tab’ enters the buckle. Use a flat blade screwdriver to pop the cover off. Turns out I had an old penny in there which wouldn’t allow the button to depress fully.

Good job finding the problem. I had a similar problem pop up many years after the truck was in an accident. A piece of glass from the shattered back window got into the buckle and blocked the button. I had a he!! of a time getting out of the truck. I'm still finding bits of glass and the accident was probably thirty years ago.
