Got a new Holley Street Warrior carb to replace the old Holley carb that kept being buggy. Runs great but I would like to get the fast idle down a little bit, just seems really high, definitely not the 1400-1600 they say it should be out of the box. Anyway, I know the screw is under the choke and have to open throttle, but does anyone have trick to do it without taking carb off? I just cant see what I am doing .

@Honky Kong jr knows his Holley carbs and may be able to offer some assistance.

I guess that was my point, its in a hard spot, window to get a wrench on it is extremely small.

If you hold the throttle open some, you can sneak in from the rear with a smallish flat blade screwdriver. It's kind of a bitch, but it's doable.

Not a good place for the adjustment, unless the carb is on a tunnel ram. :)

Ok, I quit fighting with it and unbolted it, picked it up, few turns of 1/4" socket, problem fixed. Easier than trying to wrestle it .
