Yes I found a set of front leafs I think it's only 2.5"
I need to get an electronic distributor for if I think it would help that old motor does any one have one laying around for cheap O and now the stupid water pump started leaking

welcome!

an hei can be found for under $100, it has all the ignition stuff in one package. it's often considered a great upgrade for a sbc. the water pump is around $50 new and I'd stick with ACDelco on something so critical.

I have a crab style distributor from a vortec era 350 I'd let go for super cheap. you'd have to look into whether or not it would be compatible with your truck. I'm not sure if it is as I think it uses a signal from the cam position sensor and or ecu. I don't know much about the mixing and matching arena between the different engine eras.

So I talked my financial advisor AKA my wife into letting me buy a Mallory coil & points conversation should be coming soon.
Sorry I haven't returned on this thread been traveling for work any how what do you guys now about electronic fans! I have been thinking about it, when I change the water pump.
Would two 12 " fans do it ? if I was to build a shroud from them what I mean is don't mount them to the radiator mount them to a good sheet metal shroud.
Also Frankenchevy thanks for the info.
I am going to post some more pics but I am a piss poor computer person But TRYING if any over 50 now's
The little I have used this site the more I enjoy it so please have pashaces with me how do you post more then one pic at a time.

here's a cheaper new alternative to ACDelco. Quit a few on here have used these with great results...including me. Just search the forums for Skip White for reviews.

I have two of them with about 5000-6000mi on them and so far so good, BUT, before I used them I took them apart to look them over, they were pretty decent but one of them had way too much end play in the shaft so I had to shim that up, also one of them barely had any thermal paste under the module, that would have been short lived there. And one issue I had with both of them was that the mechanical advance wouldn't return all the way back at idle, at first I thought it was a linkage issue because it would idle too high but if I whacked the throttle a couple times idle would come down, but yet throttle was not sticking at all so I put the light on it and sure a hell the initial was 3*-4* higher than I originally set it at, popped the cap off and touched the weights and it snapped back, the weights are cheap **** stampings but with some detailing on them so far they seem to be working ok, oh and I don't go over .045 on plug gap, wider the gap the harder it is on the module and didn't really wanted to put them to the test, lol.. Anyhow, that's my experience with them, but I'm also a magnet for **** if there's a bad one in the pile guess who gets it, if you want to weed out the junk just sell me something, lol...
