There are some hidden costs swapping the 5.3LS motor in but the advantages are worth it. I also put a posi and 3.73 gears in . What a blast to drive.

Are you running A/C with your swap? My truck has factory A/C, and I'm wondering if there's a way that I could adapt it to work with the LS accessory drive.

I used the LS A/C compressor with my stock Squarebody A/C. You can also modify a TBI R4 compressor bracket to work on the LS, or user an aftermarket high mount A/C kit. Lots of options.

I bought an adapter for the stock AC compressor that clears the frame, and I will make my own AC lines.
