That looks like the kit that has the axle mount in the middle and the shocks go down the tie rod towards each end , (totally cool look in my book) , shoot a pic out .

Just out of curiosity, why do you feel this is necessary? The only thing I've found them to be good for is to hide any potential worn steering parts. Personally, I don't believe in steering stabilizers. If something is loose, I want to know about it, and I want to know about it now. Not when it finally breaks completely.

I actually had a similar thought as Greasedog. What is the actual purpose of stabilizers? Seems to me like they would increase the steering effort and slow down the movement of the tires in both the initial movement to turn, and also the return movement to center. I think they look cool, but never thought they were really needed. I guess in my mind if you can't run 37's (for example) without stabilizers, you have problems and a stabilizer is simply a solution for the symptom, not the cause.

Not trying to be critical of you here, just looking for knowledge about the subject.

Idk smooths out bump steer I would think. I likem looks good..if ones good twos better right lol

I drove a truck with out one once with 40 inch rubber and you know every now and then the freakin steers would go from side to side like they were gonna fall off! There is a technical term for it although it escapes me, as most other things do also at this moment. Any way the steering stabilizer prevents this situation from happening, and the bigger the tires the more necessary the stabilizers for on road use.

Off road, they do absolutely nothing. unless doing 35 mph or better down them back roads.

Death wobble.

I agree, they are only beneficial if running large and lopsided tires on the street. But if you have good and round tires, you still don't need a stabilizer, assuming there's no worn parts and the alignment is good.

Although not needed, I'd think the a stabilizer with big tires would also help your suspension parts last too wouldn't it? I don't think I'll go with a dual, but I will probably do a single. I'd imagine the biggest tire I'm going to have is a 35x15.50 and most likley going to be a 33x10.50. I want a taller tire, but I don't want a wide tire to kill the mpg.

i know they installed single stabilizers from the factory on some models.
