1986 silverado 305 to 1989 350 engine swap & manifold is hitting frame

I'm new at this so don't know if I'm posting in the right place but I just bought a 1986 silverado that had a 305 in it but the guy said he put a 350 in it I believe out of an 1989. He did not hook anything up and the motor mount bolt one the driverside is out he said he could not get it in. I jacked it up today and there is no way I can get that bolt in there because the manifolds are sitting on the frame. Is there some type of spacer or taller enging mounts I can use? What manifolds should I use if I have to change them? Someone please help this is just the start of my problems because I don't know anything about hooking up this engine.

Sounds like the engine is from a newer body style truck, the frames are wider as I recall, so the manifolds hit the squarebody frame.

You'll need some square body manifolds if you're staying stock, that will be the easiest fix.

buy a set of headers for your truck, unless you can hit a junkyard and find cheap 73-87 manifolds headers would be somewhat cheaper, but if you have emissions they won't work so great, if you have to pass emissions tests that is.

Also it would require exhaust work.

I would ask the guy where the old motor is and the manifolds he pulled with it.
