Starter fried
Just an FYI - I installed this exact starter on my '83 2 weeks ago and it already has a dead spot on it. I have to tap it w/ a pipe or hammer in order to get it started. It even did it this morning when the truck was cold. Buyer beware.- Chet1

That's the strange thing about it, I can hook this trailer up to my brother's 1988 Chevy truck or my brother-in-laws 2005 suburban and it works fine. No blown fuses it their trucks. I also towed a rental trailer with my truck and had the same issue, any more ideas?- Chet1

Short when trailer is hooked up
Hey y’all! I’ve got an issue with my 83 GMC that maybe someone has run a crossed before. Whenever I plug in a trailer and turn on my turn signals, it pops the fuse. My flashers work but the turn signals blows the fuse every time. Any ideas?- Chet1
