What bulbs do you have behind your gauges, they light up real nice!?
    • Honky Kong jr
Just normal bulbs I pulled out of the 89 cluster.

They seem way brighter then my stock bulbs, i wish mine lit up that bright

I was pleasantly surprised too but I assure you the are just run of the mill bulbs unless the did something different in 89. I too went ground happy with it and added a few. That may have something to do with it.

That could be... where did u add grounds to?

I also have a tach on the column but no light because i didnt know where to attach the light wire too.

Cab to frame in 2 places I didn't want to rely on the ground threw the rad support and fenders and the cab mounts. I pulled power for the tach and gauges off the power supply for the heater control light, but I had the bezel off so it made it easier.

What color is the wire you tagged your tach off of? That is if its not different between my 78 and your 89

My truck is an 87 I just robbed the bulbs from an 89 R30 I've been picking at. Man I can't remember....I wanna say it was black but I can't be 100% sure.
