Hello All. I have a set of Energy Suspension cab and radiator support bushings # 4109G. The cab bushings fit but the support bushings seem to be wrong. See the pics. The hole in the frame is quite a bit larger than the center of the bushing. The support can slide around quite a bit. I haven't tightened it down all the way but I feel that even tight it will be able to slide. The truck is a 78 2wd. Anyone used these before with success?

Look diff than what you are showing.

Don't even see Energy Suspension support mounts on their site alone just the body mount kit.

I can measure on my 79 when I get a chance, I am using energy suspension body mounts.

To hold us over until then, here is an old photo of my 79s frame.

That area at the left arrow fits very loose in the hole. And is does look enlarged but my dad bought the truck new and it's never been apart till now. There is a fair amount of rust pitting, I wonder if the hole is enlarged due to rust? I didn't pay attention to the hole size til now.

Not certain, but it appears the holes have been slightly enlarged by someone?
I bought a set from LMC when I replaced mine:
https://www.lmctruck.com/body-components/body-mounting/cc-1973-87-polyurethane-cab-mount-bushing-set

@legopnuematic was typing same time as me and has the likely solution.
Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. They do look enlarged, if they are it has to be from rust, we've had the truck since new and it's never been apart til now. If I just tighten the dog out of them I guess it'll keep it from skating from side to side. Not sure why all my replies don't show in the right place.

Similar to the Summit Part Number: SUM-RP24635

Doesn't look like the Energy Suspension parts...

The hole in my frame mount is roughly 1.720, varies a little since the rust made it out of round a bit. Here's pic of the size of the part of the bushing that fits in the hole. There's about .350 difference
