This is my new crate motor. 94 350, 4 bolt main. Getting a new flexplate tomorrow and hope to have my truck back on the road after almost a year and a half. First guy screwed me every which way but Sunday with a bad tbi 350

Make sure you don't have a shut off valve for the heater core. Vortec has no coolant bypass in the block like earlier small blocks. You have to use the heater core as the bypas, run an external bypass hose,or drill holes in the thermostat.

The blue reminds me of those powder blue Pontiac Firebird Espirits back in the day. Back then no guy would get caught dead in one of them.

I didn’t think trucks got Vortec heads in 94 as they were still TBI until 95? Good to check though. Idk if the cars were Vortec earlier in the 90s or went straight from TBI to the LT1 (big cruisers like the Caprice and Roadmaster)
