Funny you mention MW, we received a small catalog from them a few months ago. I thought no way .... seriously....they are still in business!

Wow...I thought they went out of business over ten years ago. Maybe their business would pick up if people knew they still existed.

I love my semi-deep well 12-point sockets. Bought a few several years ago, and have rarely used shallow or deep wells since then. I got great deal on Snap-ons, but they are also available from Gear Wrench for less money

Other tools I like a lot:

  • Gear Wrench ratcheting combo wenches
  • 1/4" drive air ratchet and wobble extensions -- great for getting into tight spaces
  • Bosch 3/8" drive cordless impact driver and Tekton impact sockets -- at least 5x faster than using a wrench when removing several bolts, and no hose to get in the way. Lithium ion batteries hold a charge for a very long time.

It's not really a tool, but good to have around. It's called Plas-T-Pair. It's kind of expensive. We use it at work for repair cracked/broken plastic stuff.

We repaired an X-ray Cassette Reader mechanism ($1,200) with it. That part normally lasts about a year or 2 before it cracks. After the repair, it won't break in the same place lol. This is some strong stuff. Amazon has it as well as other vendors.

Another plastic repair method I found looking for a video for the PlasTpair:

Ohhh NO, don't make me have to do this??? Do we have to??? Well OK then, I'll have to work on it. That's lots of pics. Not a bad idea to have them though for insurance purposes so I may as well play along too. Just gimme some time.
