Good Day square heads.

I am curious what kind of doors I have on my k10? I have attached a couple photos of the mirror mounting holes. As mentioned in my first post, somebody caught the fact that my mirrors aren't stock. The mounting holes for the mirrors are a tripod style with a hole patter at about 9.5" wide x 10" tall. Nearly all square bodies I have seen with the tripod style mirror brackets have the lower mounting bolts above the trim line (SEE MY PHOTO BELOW). My lower holes are below the trium line? What gives, what kind of mounting brackets go with this pattern? Are these doors off of a different model of Chevy? Maybe the doors are from a larger model than my K10 short bed?

Any input is appreciated.

Cheers

These are the mirrors that are on the truck. Are the brackets GM? The mirrors are clearly not correct?

I agree but I haven't seen other square body trucks with the lower holes below the door trim line? Typically they are above or below the trim line from what I have seen?

Those aren't factory mounting holes. It's hard to say what the truck had originally if the doors aren't original and if there's no SPID label in the glovebox.

I'm trying to recall where the small tripod mirrors mounted. I had a set on the '79 I had in HS, and thought that all three legs of the mount were tubular. But, I haven't owned that truck since about '97 so the memory ain't what it used to be.
