Got the dog house back on, not done aligning everything. Also my new grant steering wheel in it, the bow tie is crooked on my horn button.... Maybe I can hear it up with a heat gun and move it?

Finally worked out the electrical/start issue on my 84.

After replacing the starter, cables, battery, alternator........damn igntion switch!!

Just out of mere curiosity, I tore iinto the old ignition switch and wallah!! Burnt and worn contacts. Go figure a $13 part was the problem.

Making progress on the 250$ 350, recent rebuild, they cant tighten gasket bolts though, all connecting rod bolts are torqued, as well as main caps, cylinders are clean as well as pistons from what I can see, getting new external gaskets and a paint job, stealing parts from my 350 that needs cylinders machined since that will be awhile, then hopefully will be going in the 85 in the next month or so just so it moves out of my way of my garage

Oil pan I bought is a driver side dipstick, my engine is a passenger side ‍♂️
Didnt even consider it, so I'll be on the hunt for another now, I did however start a little sanding on the 80, and removed the bumper for not and leaving the new one off until I get the truck primed all one color

Havent driven it in a while and come outside to see a pool of tranny fluid on the ground. How does that happen?

Looked under and cant pinpoint where the leak came from since its apparently self lubricating under there.

Its just GMs patented rust preventative program on all 25yr or older vehicles. When the highly sophisticated engineered seals on mechanical components detect the vehicle is immobile for a short period of time it triggers a leak of various fluids to address possible corrosion issues the under carriage may incur.

I wonder if Chrysler copied the design. My 99 Cherokee had a self lubricating chassis also lol.
