Did he do anything to it ??

Cut the floor and rocker out... So that's awesome.

Once I get my truck account back up, I'm going to head south and look for a replacement cab. I'm over trusting anyone to work on my junk.

Thank you! When I was picking it up, he was being evicted, so I can't say I didn't take any satisfaction from that lol. I'm glad I got it back, some people in these situations never see their vehicles again.

I installed my new aluminum pedals, ball millled to match everything else. Its always a pain in the ass laying on the floorboards, but worth it in the end. Next up is the new floor carpet....but its on backorder from Classic Industries . Still 3 weeks out. At least the wait time allows me to work on other projects.

The good guys show is approaching fast....March.

I've not done much to either square lately other than collecting parts for my 87 but been too cold to do anything with them just yet. I've got all the seals to restore the rear tailgate. Also have new seat belts for the front two seats and a new dome light switch for the driver front door. Ready for warm weather so that I can start attacking some of this stuff. Still need to POR15 the underside and install my auto down kit as well. TOO MUCH GOING ON! LOL

Finally got around to lubing every pivot in the clutch linkages, including the squeaky as hell pedal. Now the clutch is butter smooth and requires a lot less effort. The downside is I have to adapt to the new pedal feel.

Slathered some Penetrol on my 3+3 today while the sun was shining. I've never used it, so I tried it out.

Buffing is hard work but this stuff cost $9, laid on with a paint brush, and looks good from 20ft.

I tracked a fluid leak to the front differential vent HOSE.
The fluid was climbing several inches (almost a foot!) UP, and finding a hole at the metal retainer where the hose crosses the engine bucket.
I guess that was OEM line, it had spring clamps x4 and holds that shape! That hose has a section of metal to cross over the frame prior to exiting at the vent near the headlight.
I bought 5/16 fuel hose and replaced it all with worm clamps then filled the axle.

Wtf.

That's an important vent I guess , there's serious pressure in there... Magnet plug didn't reveal much.
It was really fine, kinda strange lookin.

Today I replaced the tail light/stoplight 1157, reverse light 1156 filament bulbs, with some LED super brights. All I can say is WOW!

Hey val, would yo mind grabbing a comparison shot between the incandescent and led bulbs in the tail/brake light?

When I swapped mine originally, they were actually dimmer so I stuck with the incandescent bulbs. Reverses were a ton brighter though.

LED's, I've learned, can be really sensitive to how they are clocked in a housing. I recently got a set of headlights, thought they were junk, got a tip, spun them 90 degrees, holy buckets they were whole new lights lol.
