what brand of fuel do you run in your square?

Over the weekend I drained the fuel from the generator (Hurricane Irma prepped) and dumped it in the 2500HD. The gas has SeaFoam in it and looked as good as new. The 2.5 gallon can that is el cheapo 87 without seafoam is already turning a yellowish color. Just an observation....

I try and keep 90 in it. I also try and use Chevron, but there are situations where I stray... I feel like brand loyalty isn't what it used to be and no one has a distinct advantage like they might have in years past.

On a random note, one place I won't go is Arco. That is the one location where I have had some bad gas at the 87. Sure it's cheaper, but, sometimes, you get what you pay for.

well the engine better enjoy the n/e 90 I just put in @$3.59/gl.......cuz it won't see it again lol. Not at that price....didn't notice the price until it was almost done pumping. Back to 87 @$2.03/gl after this tank.

I just got some 93 from Rutters to move Willy around 3.13 a gallon once on the road it's gets a 50/50 mix of the purple stuff.

i filled up at marathon today a little over 16 gallons at 2.29 per gallon

Dunno about the snake oil thing, but I've found I really like to add a bottle of Berryman's B12 to a tank every once in a while. I've noticed it really seems to help with the MPG (I actually measured a difference) that would last a few weeks.

Did wonders for my old 99 Durango too. It would keep a converter C/E light off for a a month or two after each use.

That reminds me... I need to get a couple bottles of that stuff.

There's only like 3 fuel suppliers in the us everybody generally has the same gas gas stations by the gas generally from the same supplier

the reason i say this i had a friend who was in the fuel delivery buisness and he hauled to pretty much all the stations in the chicago area! for the most part he said the only diffrence you may see! like said earlier is, if its a station that sits on there fuel for awhile it will condensate and obviously lose its octane rating over time other factor is age of tanks in the ground! if it is a stock engine and it dosnt call for higher octane 87 is the way to go yea you may or may not see a slight milage diffrence running a higher octane but it will cost more per mile than what you get for better milage!
