Turn Signal Linkage

Is there any way to tighten up the linkage for my blinker lever? if i hit a bump it just goes left and it doesnt even click in its really sloppy

Hmm, the stalk is supposed to pop into the switch and be tight. Are you sure the stalk is seated in there all the way? If so, I'd suspect the actual turn signal switch.
