This thread is everything that is difficult about remote diagnosis. Unless you can put eyeballs on the problem it is very difficult because one has to make certain assumptions that skew the process.

To be fair, the OP only asked if they run better at higher temps, but it sure leads down the rabbit hole, don't it?

It's funny you said that I went over an old friends house and his Dad came out and picked my truck apart. He is a die hard Chevy fan through and through and he let me have it for driving that truck around without putting it back together properly. I got the right brackets now I need the rubber grommets that the rad sits on. It'll get done this weekend along with a rebuilt alternator.
