If it's an automatic, which I'm assuming it is, it's probably a 700R4. It's got a sixteen bolt, rectangular pan. I don't know what the junkyard situation is up there, but if it's not so good, you could probably find plenty of new and used crossmembers online.

Back to serious bidness....

So is this a 2wd or a 4wd truck? If 2wd, Is it a one hole or a 2 hole trans mount crossmember? Whichever one it is, chances are I have one. Cover the shipping and a few bucks for gas to find a box and get it to Fed Ex or UPS and I'll send you one.

BTW, is this a 4 speed or 3 speed auto? Many V6's came with a 3 speed auto and you'd think it was a Th350, but it was a Th400 with a long output shaft and slip yoke instead of the normal 3/4 ton trucks with the short shaft and bolt on yoke. Didn't make much sense to me, but it's true as can be. Now why a V6 needed a Th400 I'll never know but that's what GM did. Maybe it's because the Th350 was out of production but IMO, the Th400 is hp robbing heavy transmission that should have never been put behind a 4.3. Sure don't have to worry about tearing up the transmission though if that's what you have.
