On another forum I'm on regularly there's a thread with toolboxes they've acquired or redone or saw for sale that maybe someone would be interested in and I love looking through at them all
I'd like to see what all you guys work out of or maybe collected or kept just because you could use it

Organized? What's that?

Since I quit the garage job, everything ended up at home and a lot of it is always riding around in the back of my work truck. And since I'm not home much, I often have to look through 4 different boxes and 2 or 3 tool bags before I find what I'm looking for.

These were my first boxes, I got them on Reno on craigslist for dirt cheap. They were actually really ****** cheap junk but I used them.

While in Reno still a kid gave up on his automotive hobby after buying this tool box. I scored it for 150 bucks. It served me well the past few years, I hauled it all the way from Reno to Arizona and covered it in stickers.

Saw this one in Napa and had to have it. So far I love it, very high quality. Its got plenty of room to expand my tool collection. I dont see myself getting rid of this one, not going to get stupid with stickers either.

Here it is without me standing in front of it.

Screw drivers, a few are missing.

Im a snap-on guy but I really like channel lock pliers. Again, still rounding up all the stuff for this drawer.

This drawer was to be my hex tool ultimate drawer put storing T-handle hex wrenches is stupid, its a waste of a drawer. I got both SAE and METRIC sets during the snap on guys tool sale and they could not find the storage rack, as soon as I get it they will most likely get bolted on the side of the box. The TORX drivers are old school Wihi brand made apparently when Germany was still divided. I scored the Wihi set at a estate sale in Tuscon a couple years ago for 10 bucks, the reason I always stop at garage sales.

I thought about doing this drawer as a 1/2 inch drive drawer to store sockets but realizing I really dont need 1/2 inch drive working on passenger cars its going to hold nothing but 3/8's sockets in every variety.

Wrench drawer, All common metric and SAE wrenches. This will get filled up soon.

This drawer is special to me, its all the special tools I have acquired to assemble engines or transmissions. It also houses the 1/2 inch drive snap on torque wrench I got off craigslist.

These are my prize snap on snap ring pliers I spent several hundred bucks on to work on my transmission. They deserve their own drawer.

If anyone was wondering what my current workspace looks like here is my home depot storage shelves I modified into work benches for 100 bucks. I built them horizontally and got a sheet of plywood for the top surfaces. I used the un needed soft wood included in the kits to screw to the wall and hang hot wheels cars on. I dont work on plywood benches, I cover them in Pig-mat. As far as rebuilding stuff goes its the best work benches ever.

Thats another set of 80 dollar home depot shelves assembled vertically this time. I store good **** like oil and filters on them, also parts and supplies. Thats my 1968 Golf cart im working on.
