I have a 1980 GMC Sierra Classic C15. I was asking about the maximum tire size the stock rear end would be compatible with. I have 255/60r15's on the rear now. I want to put drag radials all the way around. The size I want to get would be around 335 to 305 and rim size would be 18 or 20. The thing I am concerned about is the height of the tire. I want some what tall tires and was wondering what would fit.

Welcome to the board! All depends on your current gearing unless you're just talking about what the stock rear axle can handle no matter the gears.
