Looks good!
Colors don’t look right in photo. The vent is actually matte black. Looks dark gray in photo. Upper door panel is matte black with satin black door pull and PW/L switches. I’m working on interior door latches next. Black and silver with hidden blue LED to illuminate where door pull location is.

That looks great! My vote is for shiny trim.
I’m still in that fence. I didn’t fold prongs over just yet for that reason.

Instead of chrome trim I'd just get a color matching vinyl welt strip along the top and use that to bump against the bottom of the door cover. it will also act as a cushion and not make noise when stuff jiggles around. I'm also biased because I don't like shiny stuff. shiny stuff requires cleaning.

I painted my window and lock switches black and silver and am thinking of doing my interior door latch and door latch buckets. I am debating on painting the chrome the same aluminum silver color as the switches.

Curious what you used to paint them and how they are holding up? I'm getting a little OCD about dechroming and now that I have found most of the pieces on the outside I' taking it indoors, lol.

I just mixed up some ppg paint in an airbrush. DuPont clearcoat is what I have in the basement. I got the materials from brother at the Cadillac dealership.

I like shiney chrome. Just was bored and chrome was so pitted. Truck is a rattle can rust bucket right now so figured why not.

Changed all the burgundy interior to black. Just to freshen it up. No show trucks here. Only an old 4wd.

I’ve got a ways to go before even thinking about putting door panels on. But have them finished up. Still debating on chrome strip or painting strip silver to match window and door lock switches.

I'm probably going to end up leaving them chrome. Will probably leave inner door latch bar chrome as well as column shifter, ignition, glove box latch and a few other things. But going to use the painted PW/L switches that are black

Thanks for the compliments on the carpet panels. Super easy. Took like 45 minutes total time for both. (not counting dry time, just working time)
