Thinking about a swap but want to keep my tranny

So my blue bomb is a dd with a strong 350 in it. For the most part its fun to drive even with my granny tranny. I would like a little more power under it. More torque than hp probably. Mind you this is just dreaming right now but what are decent options i have while keeping my tranny. The pto ability is the deciding factor on that. I know ptos can be hooked into transfer cases and what not but id rather not have to go buy something when i already have something to do the same thing. Not looking to break the bank either.

Upgrade what you have, 383 stroker, or X2 on the big block. You have the 400 SBC, too, which is like a white German Shepherd. It’s still a German Shepherd, but they’re not as common, and they are slightly different from what’s traditional.

I’ve always wanted one of those in that color. Maybe someday. There are a lot of colors for those guys! There’s the regular, black, blue, solid liver, panda, white, sable, and mixtures of all those colors.
