Honestly, for what used ones cost, new ones are a pretty good deal. Used ones often have the threads stripped out of the feet too.

I hear ya. Just casting a net out there to see what I can find. I'm really hoping to find a cheap one. I'm going to have to get it machined anyway to fit a 4l80e so stripped threads in the foot don't really bother me. I could go buy the advance adapters part specifically for the 4l80e, but they are way too proud of their stuff. This is definitely a budget-minded swap.
