Ok so here the story....this mornin i fired up the the truck to change the oil, i moved about 100 feet and backed the nose up on ramps. Now theres tranny fluid pouring down the side of the trans, appears to be coming out the bottom of the dipstick tube. Anyone tell me why? Otherwise the trans shifts and runs good. Im pissed and lost right now.

Where the hell is @Honky Kong jr when ya need him?!
He’s fallen victim to what can only be described as a juvenile, passive-aggressive action perpetrated by a jilted suitor. It appears someone’s “A” game is not good and it appears eliminating the competition is the only answer. Never underestimate the desperate!

You either need to replace that type seal or you have an O-ring type dipstick. Most Th350's used the O ring type seal. That doesn't mean that type you have there won't work in the beginning, but as soon as it shrinks in the least bit with age, then you have this problem so my guess is, you have an O-ring type dipstick tube. If you pulled it out and took a pic of the end of it, it would be obvious to which type you have.

After more closer examination i think my problem became apparent.... the bolts that holt the trans mount to the trans are missing.... wich in turn is letting the trans wiggle all over and that caused my gasket to tear into pieces. It has the sleeve type rubber not the o-ring type.

If you do, just use the blue. Probably all that's needed. Either that, bolts with split lock washers.

You can get this locally right? I'm getting ready to go to my shop and pick up a few Th350 parts for another member. I know I have that sleeve seal too in spare parts. I doubt you wanna wait a few days for shipping huh???

Im gunna wait till the girlfriend gets home from work then go to the local autostore and grab one. I need bolts and loctite also so... thanks for the offer though! I appreciate it. Its actually good i found this though because i needed to change the dipstick tube because the mounting bracket was broke off and its floppin around plus had i not changed the oil i never woulda seen the trans bolts missin.
