Hey guys I need a little help, just completed a carburetor swap from tbi on a 92 suburban 2500 with a 454 & a 4L80 trans 2wd. Transmission is not shifting right & no OD, I was told 91 & 92 4L80’s were non computer controlled but after doing more online research it sounds like I may need aftermarket controller. If anyone has any knowledge on this I could use the help! Thanks, John

You'll need a standalone controller

Stop driving truck immediately. Without electronics hooked up the trans could be smoked in under 100 miles

All 4l80e transmissions are electronically controlled
