Anyone know what is used to mount the tailgate band trim? I have the band, but don’t have the mounting clip things. Where could I buy them?

Dammit man !!! My project truck is about 65 miles away at my dads and I don't get there often, but I'm pretty sure I have a tailgate band that dented up pretty bad and I'd have kept the screws in the fasteners to the band. It would be quite some time before I got out there to check for sure.

Someone else may have some or know where to get them. LMC I'd think might have them.

Haha it’s all good. LMC has some sort of screws listed, but it’s for a different style band not sure if it’s the same thing I need?

They use the same bolt holes. Ill get a pic in a few minutes.
Right on. But besides the screws don’t i need the clip things as well? I don’t have those either. If I remember correctly, they have screws that run through some sort of clip type thing.

This is a K5, but they are similar idea. The pick up has more depth due to the contours and a notch for the handle. K5's have a flat gate. I linked one on eBay for a truck, but I can't copy the photo.

Are you just needing the j-clips or the whole support piece?

I just need the J clips you posted and the screws that go through them. If I remember correct the clips that were on this style were the same as the very left clip in the picture.

Mine were coarse thread. But you can basically use whatever size J-clip (aka speed nut, blind nut, etc) fits and snaps in place, then use hardware to match.

I couldnt find this style clip anywhere. I had to buy another band to get the clips I needed to completely mount mine.

That picture is from Summit Racing. Dorman makes the j-bolts. Sometimes bigger Ace Hardwares carry them.
