Hey guys I am about to purchase some new tires in the next day or two. The truck is stock (sure sagging a little) with original ralley wheels 15x8. It has worn 31x10.5 on it now and was wondering in your opinion if it can fit 32X11.5. Looks like a 32 may rub the front part of the fender and maybe the suspension on right turns. Thanks for the help.

31s are stock but some people run 33s and get by with it on the street. 32s shouldnt be bad.

When you step to 33's, you normally also increase to 12.50 width. BF Goodrich makes a 33x10.50x15 that I intend to try. Still get the height, but being narrower, you have a real good chance it won't rub on turns while hitting a pot hole.

I have 235/75/15's on my truck right now. It's a horrible off road tire. Not enough ground clearance when you get in a rut.

Hate to say it Dawg, but even with a 31 or 32, you'd have gotten stuck in that rut. All in the fun of off-roading !!! :High 5: This is why you're 4x4 toy shouldn't be your daily driver. You're not having fun unless you're pushing it to its limits and breaking ****.

unless you build it right and you don't have to break it.

that said, if you've got stock wheels (or stock size, 7 or 8" wide, 4" BS) you should be able to fix a 33 x 12.50 without issue.

The rut actually goes on up and across the road, where I originally got struck. Thats just the spot where I couldn't back up any further.

This is true. But normally, you build it. Tear it up, Fix it and make it better, Tear something else up next time, make that part better. Eventually you've found all the weak links then its on like Donkey Kong.

235/75/15

I had huge General grabber mud tires on my k10. I think 33's. They rubbed on turns and the truck had to work real hard to get up to say 55 or so. Plus it handled horrible. So I went from one extreme to the other with 235/70r15 all the way around. It looks funny to me. Kind of skateboardish but boy does it handle and accelerate great now. I see you recommended 235/75/15. Is that just 5 inches taller or wider? Or do you think I'm just fine with what I have. I dont do any off roading.

I have a set of 32x11.5's on 15x8 wagon wheels, and i have never rubbed, and they look great at a factory height. But i wanna go up to a 6" on 35's.
