The shop I went to pulled,rebuilt,and put back in 1300 plus tax so I had to I was jammed up needed the truck its my daily so an upgrade was postponed for now. I got a new trans cooler to replace the old one. While the trans is out should I have anything else done it pairs with the np208?

If it's not leaking or hard to shift, I'd leave it alone.

Agreed. You came out fine on the trans. That’s a fair price, I think.
I jumped right on it. I wanted to go with th400 conversion just wasn't prepared financially at the time. The guy that has the 400 has a plethora of sb parts but its a package deal all or nothing.

I would say shoot for the 4L80E w/ stand-alone controller in the future. The TH400 is an upgrade in strength but a downgrade in efficiency. The 4L80E gives you both.
